Every photo I have seen of the Earth is flat?.... Just like the photos of my head!! Some religious groups teach that the Earth has 4 corners so it must be flat. I hope Sammy does some research and comes to a better understanding of the scriptures and of science. In the meantime he knows the shape of a football! And he knows how to grab it out of the air.

The earth images thing isn't a "theory" though. NASA scientists have admitted the images we've seen over the years are computer generated. Now that doesn't mean the earth is flat but just something interesting that most people probably don't know.

The video doesn't speak towards ALL photos being fake, mostly that the "Blue Marble 2" was manufactured as a composite using real imagery, and some editing. Do you have a more official NASA press release to substantiate the "All photos are fake" claims?

Maybe I should have added a caveat to that. MOST of the pictures that people see of earth are fake. The other images are debatable but that's just my opinion. If they'll fake most of them and this not be known by the vast majority of people, why wouldn't they just fake all of them?

You can choose to believe or not believe in events or metaphysical or supernatural things. That is, things that there may be no proof of their existence or occurrence.
You can't choose to believe or not believe the shape of a physical object or something that is easily provable. You can only deny it but that is not the same as "I don't believe it".
Denying something in the face of overwhelming evidence or proof (or in the case of a planet such as earth use of basic astronomical observation) is what a "flat earth" person is doing.

But it seems to me that if it were flat, some juan would have set up some tourist spots at the edges of the earth and sold t-shirts that say "My friend went to the edge of the earth and all I got was this lousy t-shirt".
We're pretty good at making money off tourist attractions and natural wonders...can't believe no such resorts and attractions exist.

Hey, maybe Sammy thinks at a higher level, with more dimensions than most of us here on TNet can comprehend; who knows? Maybe Columbus' theories were actually wrong, or maybe Columbus never really existed. Maybe one can take a bunch of flat surfaces, put them together, and it'll have the appearance of a sphere when it's really just a bunch of flats put together. The theory that curves can be approximated as a bunch of mini-straights strung together as widely accepted at institutions of higher learning throughout the world. Maybe Sammy is right after all.

I never thought I’d be embarrassed that Sammy Watkins went to Clemson. Even if he is lying and trying to get a rise out of everyone he should realize he’s a role model for kids and some will believe that. I guess it’s no longer cool enough to just deny climate change. Yes, he can think whatever he wants, but so can I, and now I think he’s a negative influence on kids, an embarrassment to our great institution and “flat out” unintelligent. I’m sick of people saying outrageous things just to get their names in the headlines with no repercussions. I guess every time his name comes up I will no longer be talking about how awesome he was for the Tigers, but rather his astonishing lack of understanding/curiosity. It would be rather easy to prove if the world was truly flat.
I will admit that it’s certainly better than him being a criminal and that nobody is perfect, but come on man...

I used to hold fast to my beliefs about a lot of things (political parties, government, the Federal Reserve) until about 6 years ago when I started to realize things aren't always what they seem. (I've lived in 4 countries around the world in my youth and as an adult, so that opened my eyes a little too.)
At that point, I decided to question more about outcomes of certain events and whether they were just happenstance, or some elaborate scheme to control situations or people. When major events happened, I looked around the world to see what else was going on that a "Major News Blitz" was causing eyes to being diverted from. Do some research and you'll find some very interesting things.
We may never have all the answers, but isn't "education" about challenging the common beliefs -- learning to think critically? Coming to a well thought out conclusion/opinion?
Is the world flat? Yes? ... No? ... but there's nothing wrong with looking at things from a different perspective. Just like ALL of us, Sammy is entitled to his opinion.
Regarding Flat Earth ... I'm baffled by the FACT that there is no photograph of the earth from space that isn't a composite of images (admitted to by NASA.) Hmmm ... so we have "pictures" of Jupiter, Saturn, and other planets from the Hubble telescope hurtling through space, but someone forgot to turn it around and take a picture of OUR planet? Interesting. 
Why are airplanes that have emergency landings on international routes diverted thousands of miles away to land (according to a globe), but which happens to be directly in a straight line on "Gleason's New Standard Map Of The World" - the same map depicted in the United Nations logo?
Whose purpose would it serve to fool someone about this? Here's one opinion ...

Pictures are absolutely unnecessary. Simple geometry will do just fine. Measure things on earth with triangulation and you'll find Pythagorean rules don't work on a curved surface.
You'd also think that with all the travelling around people have done in the last 400+ years, someone would have had a couple too many and just toppled off.

We must always question EVERYTHING! Sammy is brave and perhaps a bit premature, but he is not wrong in questioning the status quo, because it is the status-quo that put us in this potion to begin with! I'm not sure that earth earth is flat, but I am god ###### sure that our rulers and leaders have lied to us about everything else If you think we landed on the moon in 1969, according to the pictures and facts available, you are a complete idiot/no way in hell that vehicle came CLOSE to the moon!
