Musk does seem to be growing increasingly...odd.

I don't know if he's always been like this but has just put himself more into the spotlight recently, or this is truly his edges becoming frayed... either way things are not all right for him.

Just bad optics, really bad for someone in his position

Musk said he wanted to buy Twitter, bots and all. He could buy it 10 times over with his stock assets. But we all know people with that much wealth in stocks NEVER sell their stock, especially if they own the company. So he uses his stock as collateral and then goes to the middle east to solicit LOANS to pay for Twitter. Take a loan out with investors, using your stocks as an asset/collateral, and then pay back the loan leaving your original asset intact.
Well, with inflation, rising interest rates, and Twitter's stock sinking, and Tesla's stock dropping by 30%+, Musk lost his investors. But on April 26th he signed an agreement to purchase Twitter, at a stock value that was set, before Twitter and Tesla both lost stock value. Investors bailed, leaving Musk screwed. When the investors bailed, on MAY 9th, Musk then started demanding info on the number of bot accounts, trying to find a reason to back out. The agreement he signed did not require that information (from what I hear).
Then as Tesla sinks in value and he loses tens of billions over the following weeks, he then demands every employee work 40 hours a week in the office, or leave. Then he says a few days later they need a 10% rif because he has a bad feeling. Just a lot of bad optics here, kinda unhinged really.

If he works hard enough and doesn't let anything get in his way, and he wants it deep in his heart because he is the only one that limits what he can achieve then he can do it.
OR WERE OUR PARENTS AND TEACHERS SPOUTING COMPLETE BOVIE FECES WHEN THEY TOLD US THAT WE COULD BE ANYTHING WE WANTED TO BE AS CHILDREN???

he announced he was buying Twitter. There were all different reasons why and I don't know which are true. None of it has made any sense to me.
As far as appearances go, Elon Musk isn't coming across to many people as someone who's making thoughtful, strategic business decisions. Business folk like stability and predictability. Things are already volatile in the markets and then you have this goofy chaos agent making nonsensical decisions and shaking things up even more.
That's how it seems to me up in here the UDP seats.
