Clemson with Tajh = Tennessee with Manning?

I'm not saying that Tajh = Manning. Not saying that at all. Only major comparison there is both love their school and stayed for their senior year.

However, consider this:
Manning's four years at Tennessee
8-4 (lost to Florida) - backup half of season
11-1 (lost to Florida)
10-2 (lost to Florida and Memphis)
11-2 (lost to Florida and Nebraska)
Won 3 bowl games, 1 SEC Championship

Tajh's four years at Clemson
6-7 (lost to South Carolina) - backup all season
10-4 (lost to South Carolina, GA Tech, NC State, West VA)
11-2 (lost to FSU and South Carolina)
10-2 (lost to FSU and South Carolina)
Won 1-2 bowl games, 1 ACC Championship

There not exact, but not that far off. Four losses to a Steve Spurrier led rivalry team for each. Three 10-11 win seasons for each in QB's So-Senior years. 1 Conference Championship for each.

My only point comes down to this... expectations were down after Manning left and Tennessee started the season ranked 10th the following season. That season turned out pretty well for them. Our expectations for next season will probably be a bit lower than 10th to start the season, but who knows. I hate the losses and can't stand getting beat by South Carolina. But wins heal and I'd love to see the "good Clemson" team in the bowl game instead of the one that played in the two losses and a couple of the wins.
