I am worried because State's defense is very good, they have the Preseason Player of the Year as their QB and our pass defense is suspect. If we don't turn the ball over we will win.

lightbulbbill® I would be except for the fact Nan-cee stank is ranked 10th. 2nd. because they are one of the teams that beat Clemson last year; I think the focus and attention to detail will be on hyper tomorrow.
TBH, I would be more worried if this was reversed. I.E. we played and beat State in a similar fashion; then we had to play Wake - a team we have a long win streak over; but who is really good coming in.
We have enough depth that has played good minutes; if we need to give guys a blow we can at certain moments of the game. And, these kids are young remember! They heal quicker than us old folk, LOL!

I'm not anxious for the game to start at this time on Gameeve. Maybe around 2 or 3 PM tomorrow a little anxiety might set in but kickoff will cure that for me.
Dabo's been jerking me around for about a decade now trying to manufacture adversity during the early games so as to harden the boys. I lost any nervousness when I realized what he was doing and how much it was justified.
It wouldn't surprise me to see him suit up a couple cheerleaders and send them in to rush with the game on the line.

It helps with the hoopla around this game but it’s hard to come back the next week after a game like the one vs Wake.

They know they get only qet 12 opp's to make their mark in the world. And then to be at home, in DV, and against Door'n and the team that upended them last year.

Tigers are not a good matchup for NC State!
We will win this one by 2 or more touchdowns. Tigers defense will come to play & offense will be enough to kick their tails back to Raleigh!
