I predict a glorious victory in Syracuse 2nite and ...

to us long term Clemson Basketball fans, this is deja vu all over again. Every year, they do good, then go into a slump, then rally back, then go into a slump, then rally back ... repeat
This time, I have this gut feeling that is different than prior gut feelings ... after 2nite's glorious victory, THEY WILL WIN EVERY REMAINING GAME IN THE REGULAR season. Why do I think this ? Because they have the talent to do so. Blowing large leads is a mind thing. The key here is to lose that choking feelings ... its sucking in good karma
Also it's wishful thinking

It's like far from everything ... I got relatives in Syracuse, it gets pretty nippy there also ... its like Alaska ! Really good pizza there though. Lots of people of Italian heritage live in Syracuse ... in fact Syracuse is named after the same city in Sicily ...
I know all kinds of useless trivia.

I wish they would. I was sky high on this team in pre-season and November. We've had some bad losses this year that just doesn't make sense.
We should matchup well with cuse. One, they're bad. How they have a net ranking of 104 is beyond me. Plus, they have smaller guards too. We tend to match well with smaller guards since we're small.

Since you seem to be new to college sports i will explain it to you. Except for a few elite teams, every program in every sport does well, then has a slump, then rallies, then slumps, etc etc etc.
This is in no way unique to our basketball team. Some teams like LSU in Football or Kansas in basketball have a built in advantage. Other programs like Clemson in football invest heavily to beat the odds (bend the curve). Seems like our basketball does not have any of the natural advantages of some programs nor do they have the level of investment to overcome a hundred years of being average. The result is having a good coach who wins at a level better than average but not enough to satisfy fans who dont really support the program in attendance or finances.

My gut feeling was not reliable ... perhaps the feeling was from the red hot beef and bean burrito I had for lunch and was not an omen of a glorious victory ?
