Boeheim, Coach K and Coach Williams winning. Neither had a good season per say . . but their teams were ready for the Tourney . . just chance you say?

Brad simply hasn't produced ever at Clemson. He's had MORE than a fair shot and the sad fact is he can't deliver. I am not generally a "sack the coach" kinda' guy, but facts are facts. The question now is whether our administration is happy and willing to settle for mediocrity.

Agree, and my biggest complaint is consistency . .which we have never had. And just understanding my original post here . .should tell ANYONE a lot. It is exactly what we do not have.

consistent under OP..
We had an identity and, on the whole, saw improvement every year he was here.
This is not a bash BB or hire back OP post. I am simply pointing out that OP's final 4 years were very cosistent (despite NCAAT frustrations)

when he has won more games and performed better in conference than any other Clemson basketball coach?
Is a finish in the top third of the ACC this year and an NCAA berth where we will be the higher-seeded team in our first round game not delivering?
What are your expectations for Clemson basketball? Are they higher than what we have accomplished this year?

All three are in the hall of fame, they are great coaches.

Would you prefer to have had the season they had this year, or the season we're having? We finished ahead of all three in the ACC this year.
All three of those coaches are fighting to be on the right side of the bubble, while we are comfortably in.
I will add that Brownell finished ahead of them despite all three having more highly touted players on their roster (much higher in the case of Duke and UNC).
Who did the best coaching job this year out of Roy, Coach K, Boehim, and Brownell? I think ours did.
