I wish Clelin would've been more of a contributor for them. Sounds as if they're looking to move him.

someone to take him (he's been pretty bad).
Kearse floundered in Minnesota and then turned into one of the defensive MVPs in Dallas.

That #4 draft pick was Exhibit A ...

in Mike Mayock losing his GM job with the Raiders. We read some posters on TNet every day that wax prosaic about the football genius of HC's, OC's, DC's, and GM's.
And when Ferrell was picked #4 in the 1st round, I knew instantly he was picked too soon. And I was sure not alone. I was thinking #4 in the second round sounded about right. But what do I know having worked in Aerospace 33 years.
Christian Wilkins at #13 and Dexter Lawrence at #17 seemed like better picks (and better players) to me and most folks who actively followed Tiger Football. And it turned out we were right. But at the time, I felt Mayock must have some football genius guru gene that enabled him to analyze Ferrell better than Tiger fans. Turns out Mayock did not. And #4 was not the right draft slot for The Missile (as #6 was for DE Jeff Bryant to the Seahawks in 1982 -- he stayed & started with Hawks for 12 years.)
All that said, Cleland Ferrell can contribute on the Giants or Dolphins. He can play, and it would be great to see him on a team with another Power Ranger.

Adams, Waller and Renfrow are 3 matchup problems for defenses. Carr is a lucky qb.

It should be an amazing season for the Raiders--can't wait to see it unfold.
