4Got Lincoln Riley came to OK in ‘15 from East Carolina via TT

and #1 & 13-0 Clemson beat him & OK’s QB Baker Mayfield ranked #4 in CFP Orange Bowl by 37-17.

This was Tony & Jeff’s 1st Bowl game to call plays and did great. Their O was balanced coming into this Orange Bowl with 30 TD’s passing & 30 TD’s by Running.

However, this good Tiger Team went on to lose to #2 Bama 45-40.

PS: Six years later Jeff, Brent, Tony & Lincoln are all HC’s!

That Got Away." Saban had to go WAY into his bag o' tricks to pull out the win against us, but, all credit to him, he did it.

If only we could have covered a tight end...........

Still sick over that game, but that game showed the world who Clemson was, and honestly believe that was the first game/team that put the fear in bama
