A few professors that I can recall

Anybody have any of these folks?
Judy Wood - 9/11 conspiracy theorist, spent a decade in a coma. A complete nut.
Josh Summers - wore a bowtie and had a diamond earring. Seemed like a D-bag.
Bob Nowack - see MauldinT's thread. Awesome dude. Tough AF. Called me names.
Tim Parrot - Calculus. Fruitcake. Wore the same three sweaters every day.
Moyle - Physics. Super funny and sarcastic. Went to Clemson Lutheran church. Joked about killing kids and really dark stuff all the time. Cracked me up.
Keller - physics - super old. Incredibly boring. I made a 35 in his class.... based on nothing but multiple choice tests.... only slightly better than random guessing. This guy was terrible.
John Saylor - Thermo/fluids - Total piece of yale trash. Dude slammed the door in my face for being 1 minute late. Counted it as an absence. Failed me for the class. Total piece of shizz.
Beasley - Heat Xfer - Great guy. I had a panic attack during one of his exams. First time I'd ever had one. He recognized the situation, made sure I was taken care of, and let me take the other exams in his office 1 on 1. Rare to see that type of compassion.
Greg Moko - he was my senior design adivsor. Ater the ME mixer at the end of the year, he went to TTT with me and got trashed. I think his wife was out of town or something. He tried to bang one of my friends. It was hilarious.
Gruigisic - Russian or some sort of Solviet. Face was mangled from a chemical explosion. Had a 60" computer monitor in his office so he could see the screen. Dude was like a bond villain.
Bill Wentworth - Socialogy - Marine Captain in Vietnam. Dude was awesome.Silver Star, Bronze Star with Combat V, purple heart... etc. Sam Perry was in that class. Wentworth dogged on him a lot.

It was one on the easiest most fun classes I had at Clemson. I learned a lot about Vietnam. I was only 10 in 1972.

What do I win? It's almost like we majored in the same thing and were there about the same time.

Was Tim Parrot the guy who would say 'mkay' before or after

every single sentence every single day all year?
TP: So we take the denominator, mkay? And we divide it by the square root of the cosine. Mkay and we then take the factor of that hydrolateral and equate it with the postulestual.
Ken's note: I may not have done very well in that class.

He was a super nice professor, and his classes were actually taught to both learn & pass the exams. He wasn't the best mathematics professor in the department, but he was far from the worst. Plus he always had the mid-late afternoon class that met 2 days a week, which allowed a nice break before chilling in Martin with the class.

I had Moyle and Judy Wood (pre-9/11)

Moyle was pretty funny.
I had Wood my last semester, when I was only taking 12 hours and had put off Strengths until then. I struggled mightily, and spent a lot of time in her office reviewing. She was always very decent to me, and I needed something like a 72 on the final exam to pass the class and graduate. She called me in her office to go over the exam, and had written the final grade on the last page. I got a 74. She handed me a graduation card, and wished me luck.
I heard about the post 9/11 stuff and was pretty surprised. I also never heard about her being in a 10 year coma.

D P Miller for Physics

Came in, wrote his name on the board, then wrote under it "Don't Pass" Miller. Looked around, then wrote"Killer Miller" under that. About 5-6 got up and walked out of class. Headed out to drop him. 35 of us stayed, and 17 lasted to the final exam.

Loved Nowack. Wandering around the room during his "unnanounced" quizzes.
"tsk tsk. You're doin' it all wrong, boy."
Yeah. 9 times out of 10 he was kidding. I was the 10th.
Also add to that list - No one could draw a chalk circle on the blackboard like Dr. Huey.

I think he was my advisor. Very visible around the department, but I don't think I ever had him. My brother did.
