Clemson 0-1 and UNC 0-1
They've never played Duke or Va Tech.

Irrelevant ancient history.
Georgia Navy Pre-Flight and Jacksonville NAS also have winning records against Clemson. So what?

Clemson has never lost to the Nittany Lions. And Clemson has a better winning percentage than Penn State over the past 40 years. And Clemson has won more Conference titles than PSU. Most importantly Clemson has more National Championships than PSU.

BTW, the term Nittany comes from the Algonquian word 'nit-a-nee,' which means 'single mountain'. Nittany lions are also known as cougars, panthers or pumas. I think of Penn State teams as The Single Mountain Pumas.
