If Oklahoma State wins the B12... they could get nancyscrewed again

Back in 2011, the 'puters said an LSU and Bama rematch would be better than Grundy's Cowboys.

When Bama beats Georgia, would the "new" system create a Jawja/Bama playoff match (assiming Meechigan and Cincy are in?) and leave out OkSU

The real screwing would be if Georgia beats Bama and Okla. St wins the Big 12 and Bama still gets in over them! At that point something will need to change.

No offense, but I don’t think people who say this have ever really looked at computer rankings before. Here’s a link to one of the main ones:

It certainly likes Clemson better, but has Bama at #2 and Cinci at #7. Other things that jump out are 7-5 Penn State and Iowa State being at #14 and #15. Texas A&M is #13. Finally, it has 6-6 Auburn at #24.

Yep, many computer rankings dont even factor

And most of the computer rankings also like the SEC as much, if not more, than the voters.

Who should be ahead of them?

Bama dropped after beating their rival on the road. Kentucky just entered the rankings and they’re 9-3. But these facts are somehow missed.
