I do nearly daily as most large multi-function printers have fax capabilities.

Fax is short for facsimile. In the old days it was a stand alone machine to send documents via phone lines. Most of you utes don't know the difference between a computer, a phone, a camera, copier etc. They are all the same piece of equipment. Our copier/printer/fax/scanner gets faxes all the time from all over. I don't fax much because I will scan and send an attachment of a document. For many this is what has taken the place of a fax.

You can't e-mail bids in to many places, you have to fax.

I have. Most medical facilities still insist on using Fax. I scan when I can though.
