Military Salute to Joe21 - wish he could have

1

Nov 11, 2021, 2:26 PM

had this one more Veteran's Day. Was pulling for him to reach his 100th birthday as he counted down the percentage of the year that had passed since his 99th as health issues piled up. He was a veteran, not just of the military and 2 wars but a veteran of life's vast experiences and we were blessed to have him share all the wisdom that came with all those years. We lost a one-of-a-kind guy all too soon.

Wish I could be there but have to do the family thing out of town this Thanksgiving. But I’ll be sure to raise a pint to Joe during that time. And I still believe he’ll be watching Saturday - from the best seat in the house.

And a win the Saturday after would suit him so fine!

He had the best kind of Veterans Day possible but absolutely agree he deserves a huge Tnet salute!
No doubt a national treasure of which there are too few left. Clover, appreciate you as well!

A special Salute in memory for Joe21. And a Special Salute to Clover65 and all of Veterans during today’s ceremonies at the game. God Bless Joe’s family and I hope to honor them by attending his memorial service after Thanksgiving.

A Special thank you to Joe21 and his many great post on Tigernet. I hope Clover65 and other Veterans will continue to share their stories. When I read them I appreciate my freedom even more. Plus they add so much to Tigernet.

I hope and pray our young people will take more time to research and learn about the numerous wars and military action our soldiers have been involved in. Then maybe they will have a greater appreciation for this great country and all of the heroes who sacrificed their lives and their youth. Many heroes came back only to battle health issues and more. Our prayers are with you all.

I Salute all Veterans today and thank for you service and sacrifice! May God Bless everyone of our Veterans as well as those who are currently serving our country, including their families who make many sacrifices to.

Thank you! ????????????????????????????????????????????
