Deshuan Watson is not the same QB he was last year. At times, he's made some pretty boneheaded, head-scratching plays that we've come to expect from him. But you know what, WHEN IT MATTERS MOST, the kid freaking' knows how to will this team to win. He makes the plays WHEN IT MATTERS. And I wouldn't trust ANYONE else on our team with the ball in their hands when we absolutely have to have our best moment. Does he have a ton of things he needs to work on? Yep. Is he as polished of an NFL prospect as we maybe thought he was? Nope. But the kid keeps his composure, trusts the process, believes in his teammates, inspires greatness from all those around him, oh... and he WINS. WHEN. IT. MATTERS.

Thing is he realizes it and owns up to it. I think he'll man up and fix all his mistakes in these last 4 games.

pick against ND and one before half against OU come to mind but more abundant this year and his deep ball is off but you're 100% right when it matter there's no one better

The fact is that the run game has not been the same either. I can't pin down what it is because the o-line isn't completely horrible and the Wayne Train isn't bad either. I think allot of it has been bad plays at the wrong time. Like that run they tried to call twice in a row in this game. Simply it's not going to work this year with the combination of talent we have. I think allot more screens and slants should be beneficial. But then again I'm not an OC. I think it's apparent DW4 has been pressed more to pass the heck out of the ball in certain circumstances, esp when the running game stalls.
