What has FSU and Jimbo Fisher done to warrant such

high expectations?

In the talent rich state of FL, has Fisher delivered an ACC championship or really dominated his opponents with masterful coaching skills?

What's his record agains UF and Miami? (I don't know...I'm asking)

Has he under executed?

What has EJ done? For the most part he's been inconsistent. Is it his NFL size and speed and the fact that he's at FSU that warrants a high ranking? There are plenty of individuals with the size and speed but many don't have the intangibles that mean the difference in winning and losing.

I just don't get the hype around FSU.

I don't think Clemson should be talking about a NC at this point either (too many OL and DL questions). I'm not ready to predict a 10-win season but I would not write us off before the season begins. I think we're moving in the right direction. I just wish we'd see the OL and DL develop talent and depth more than everyother year.

was it MD last year the refs tried to help him win late but he still botched it as I recall. Since ND is no longer and off season darling it seems FSU has taken that role. regardless of whether they do anything or not

FSU has great talent that everyeone esle wanted. They have something like 16 starters back from a 9 game winner that beat Notre Dame in a bowl. The Noles finished strong winning 7 of their last 8 games. And they play Clemson and Florida in Tallahassee.

But I too am going to have to see it to believe it.

Ended the season strong
Many returning starters
favorable schedule

They should be expected to be pretty good. Throw in the "name on the jersey" factor and you can see how they could get bumped up from top 10 to contender status.


The one that is a head-scratcher for me is how UGA can be so far up there.

Atlantic Division. Too many questions on the o-line and arrests to deal with, IMO.
