Y'all realize we don't have a game next week right?

The depth chart is just a gauge. Did y'all expect our "should still be in high school" QB to walk in and take the starting role before grasping the playbook. Prozac, Jack Daniels, yoga, smoke a joint.. do you're thing, but R E L A X Go Tigers!!

Yes. Also, I like to do all those at the same time before a Clemson football game so I don't die of a stroke.

not use the Stoudt over Watson example in their gripes as and instead wring their hands over the situation playing out the it did with Kyle Parker. In the event you don't recall, dude bro got hurt and was really not very good the rest of the year yet never got pulled. We were constantly told he gave us the best chance to win and was a NFL prospect.
Bryant is not the dumpster fire of a QB that Stoudt was for all but one game in his career.

I find it to be an irrelevant conversation before the final depth chart is released.

He could have put Wilkins at QB1.. seriously. Harbaugh doesn't even release actual pregame depth charts. We'll see where things settle out in 3.5 months.

I re-watched the 2014 Clemson - Oklahoma game last night and Stoudt was a ball of fire. He may not have had the love of many Tiger fans but he sure did show he was no slouch that day. When he knew he was the horse, he put on the saddle and had both the offense and defense riding hard to the finish line.
If any of you have a couple of hours, check out that game on YouTube. Our first play from scrimmage, a pass play to Scott for 65 yards and a TD, will keep you smiling until the last play.

I was in Africa most of that football season. I tend to be

An optimist or a pumper as many would say on here. You would have stoudt come in throw an interception and then the times where Watson played and was healthy we would win it. The whole season was a yo yo of emotions with Deshaun playing then hurt. It was so bad when stout came in that you predicted 3 and out or an int and it seemed to come through. I wondered whether to even watch that game. It was on at like 3 or 4 where I was. I’m so glad I did. That young man came in and played brilliantly and embarrassed those cocky a-holes.

You do know the kid was hurt all year. He was not suppose to play against gtech. He didn’t practice the week of that game. But you probably didn’t know that.

I would also argue that Stoudt wasn't utilized properly.

Chad Morris, for all of the good he brought to our offense and program, was very stubborn when it came to how he did things. Sometimes that worked well, but on some occasions it was a detriment. Cole Stoudt is a prime example of the latter.
It was amazing to see the difference between Stoudt's performances under Morris, and his performance under Elliott/Scott. That Oklahoma game was a thing of beauty, and it was because Elliott and Scott changed the gameplan to account for Stoudt's strengths and weaknesses. I have zero confidence that Morris would've done that if he had been the OC against Oklahoma.

Exactly. Half the reason they even post a depth chart this early is to light a little fire under certain players' rear ends to get them going over the summer.

But I saw a good grasp then. It will get better over the summer. Let the star shine. TL for Heisman. Somebody pass me a nonacoholic beer. God it tastes bad.
