Y’all have a Short memory re: play calling

If you think back to our 2016 natty just before Renfrows TD catch Dabo said he wanted to run play X and he was talked out of it by Tony and Jeff who wanted to run the pick play. Like it or not Dabo had his hands all over the play calling since Chad left. I think Chad was on his own while he was here. Dabo learned a lot from him. Now it’s Dabo’s offense. He is in on every play called. Brent calls all defensive plays.

80’s were simpler times _ so double that number to 6 run and 6 pass.

It’s not all that complicated.

No. I think we'll have to execute more than 12 plays to win the game. Unless of course, all 6 offensive plays are touchdowns and all 6 defensive plays are turnovers. ;)

Do coaches make mistake calling plays? Of course.

But more times than not the play call is a good one, but the players don’t do their jobs.

A LOT of the “stupid” play calls over the years would have been hailed as brilliant wit proper execution.

I have it on good authority that Dabo, recognizing the genius of TNetter play calling, has set up a network for TNetters to call all the plays over the Internets. Select TNetters will be on a direct microphone line to Dabo and Coach V.

I seem to remember a year that we were driving on FSU for the winning touchdown ... run, run, run ... moving the ball ... get all the way down to the red zone and Dabo insists on a pass - interception. Dabo should let the play caller call the plays.
