The funniest part was when he said "the midget" could have gone to any school in the country but chose SC to rebuild. Everyone knows SC was the only school putting any kind of effort in to get him lol

If the kid wants to go to SC my all means go. They might and I stress might be a 8 win team the entire time he's there. He's not gonna be playing amongst other elite talent. If he's okay with that go to scar be average. His recruitment is a joke at time. I feel like he takes turns trolling each fanbase. Clemson will be okay without him if he happens to pick the coots.
I feel like he knows he should go to Clemson but his coot background is a lot to overcome and the coot carwash.

if not, we will not only survive, we will thrive. I resigned myself long ago not to fret over what this or any other kid does. Remember Rashaun Gary? We did okay without him. We can't get complacent, but Dabo has this thing rolling and we're going to get our share of great players. Don't sweat it.

But he hasn't been paying attention to what's going on in the hills. Folks we are about take over the country on the offensive side of the ball to heights we have never seen with the talent we got coming in...
The SEC likes to try and make you think they invented football but that's obviously not the case. We beat the last 7 national championships alone this past season...Clemson is the best fit for him for the next level....you want to be on ESPN for prime time or SEC Network at noon?

Not sure why ya'll keep posting about him and wring your hands. Let him go through the process and make his choice. I would love to have him but with him the best regardless of his choice. BTW do you expect a site named S$CCountry to give anything other than propaganda?

Not sure how all of you guys feel about 247 but I just read an article on the Nike event in fla this weekend and Bartow said XT is still trending more towards Clemson. FWIW.

It's tough to go against your peers. Just ask Zach Bailey. He made a huge mistake and knows it but had gamecock stuff in his ear all the time. XT is experiencing the same. He will probably be a coot but we will win with or without him. Hopes he sees the light.

if that quote is accurate, the Tigers need to stop spending time and money on this young man's recruitment and start spending energy and resources on another HS player in that position. Xavier will find out how quickly a "dream" can turn into a nightmare.....Stuff like this prove he's probably not going to fit in with the academic and character expectations the current staff places on athletes now anyhow

Maybe he wants to be the man from day 1 wherever he goes. If he goes to SC they will have him walking on water in February which is their favorite time of year (off-season). He might prefer being told how great he is & we know SC's favorite thing to do is talk.

If Xavier feels in his heart ha usuck is his "dream" destination, Clemson should probably keep looking elsewhere. I feel certain the staff didn't take a liking to his quote that he was expected to sign with Clemson University because the Tigers won the NC

No Flame, but you don't stop recruiting a Top 3 recruit from your state for that. It is supposed to be 50-50.
If his major "problem" is he grew up a Gamecock fan, it is the reverse of OrTre Smith and Brian Edwards.

They obviously know what they are doing. If they think it's worth the effort to recruit then its worth it. None of us should be an impediment to that.
