Any word on their return?
They would solidify a legitimate chance at a title run next year. Our DL and run game would be a force.

Thomas should be patient and wait another year as did the power rangers. He could make a lot more money if he gave it another year.

FYI, below is the comparison for 2021 season of 'QB disrupting' plays for Xavier Thomas vs. FSU's super stud / almost-certain-high 1st Round NFL draft pick:
Xavier Thomas - - - - 18 QB pressures + 3.5 sacks: 21.5 total 'disrupt the QB' plays.
Jermaine Johnson - - 12 QB pressures + 11.5 sacks: 23.5 total 'disrupt the QB' plays.
OK, we all get it that sacks are better than QB pressures. But QB pressures REALLY REALLY matter in the NFL. Players like XT are highly prized in the NFL.
XT may not go in the 1st Round of the upcoming NFL draft, but I'm betting that he'll go in the first 3 rounds.
XT should perform very very well in the combine, and the NFL teams all seem to be combine-crazy.

I suspect you'll lose that bet. All the projections I've seen have him around the #30 edge player in the draft. All the projections I've seen have him as a 5th or 6th round player right now. He's just underperformed. And I think you need to catch up on your projections, as I haven't seen much talk of Johnson going in the first round recently. For example:

2nd hand info from current DT from Maryland is that Thomas will be back based on current draft projection.

Both need to sign a solid NIL deal. That could be game changer in the future for keeping guys for a 4th year
