WR’s

Nov 27, 2022, 6:02 PM

Not only can our wide receivers not get separation, there’s nobody that can contest for a 50/50 ball. I haven’t felt this hopeless with our passing game since Kyle Parker in 2010. That year Nuk was a freshman and Dwayne Allen was a sophomore and every passing down I cringed . I have the same feeling watching DJ throw the ball this year and he’s supposedly improved.

Everyone keeps saying our receivers don't get separation...

they do. A good bit actually. But DJ never throws the ball to them in space. He always holds it too long until that separation is gone. I will agree that we don't seem to have anyone that wants to highpoint or fight for a 50/50 ball though.

Balls are not thrown well enough to high point a ball.

^^^^ This. Why can’t everyone else see that. I see receivers wide open every game but DJ waits too long.

p.s. he also takes too long on the zone read runs

Agree 1000%. DJ doesn’t catch the ball, but he does control

When the ball is thrown and where it’s thrown. From what I’ve seen with him over the last couple years, unless the receiver is wide open, his balls are extremely inaccurate.

All i heard in the preseason was that this Adam Randall guy was going to be the second coming of Christ at WR

I ve seen him trip twice, drop a ball, and yet to see him make a play all year

I thought this guy was going to be a savior at WR but I don’t think he’s made one catch all year long

Randall bailed out DJ big time once yesterday when he had to

turn to playing defensive back to break up what would have been an interception.

I can actually recall quite a few plays this season where a receiver was wide open by 5 yards or more and DJ never even looked his way
