Wow...To Be a Student This Week at Clemson Would Be Awesome

I remember some big games from my days in the mid-80s but even for BIG games things didn't start getting crazy until Thursday night.
No way I could concentrate at all if I were on campus this week. Enjoy it students, this will be a game for the ages.

I'm a freshman at Clemson and have been coming to every home game since I was 10 years old. My parents didnt get me a season ticket this year since I'm a student so I've been camped out since last Sunday waiting to get this ticket tomorrow morning. I think I'll just skip every day of class until Saturday

or big basketball games for that matter

There are 18,000 of us students and only 11,000 tickets. The first tickets go from 1st row up and then Hill tickets. I am close enough to get within the first 5 rows

IPTAY members are basically guaranteed tickets, we are just camping for better tickets. Camping out and getting here the day of could be the difference between seats in the first 5-10 rows or getting upperdeck tickets. It's a good time though. I have enjoyed the times i had to camp out.

You could always choose to open a business in Clemson or go back and teach something...
Most businesses would love to have that many potential customers concentrated in such a small location. (especially considering operating costs compared to what they are in a large city)
If you sell something that appeals to Clemson fans, you have 70,000+ potential customers every weekend, (during the fall) and you get to enjoy the football season as well.

I'm so lucky...I JUST LIVE HERE! Again 
lived in Germany for 8.5 years after I graduated...
moved right back to Clemson from there in '08
and sports-wise it has been pretty great!
It's Clemson so I can't complain about the partying, bar-scene, and the bevy of gorgeous girls either... ;-P

It's pretty saturated already and the downtown area rent prices are absurd. One of my buddies opened a sandwich place (Geezer Pops) and even though he was in the black, his lease downtown killed his profits.

First tent is next to the IPTAY office, the last few tents are past The Rock. There are about 100 tents wrapped all around the north side of the stadium. We have been out here since Monday, ticket pickup is tomorrow. That's 7 days and there were about 20 tents here before us.
