His second speech, which was given at the insistence of certain people on his staff, was where he "clarified" that the first speech, the "both sides" speech, wasn't meant to be in support of the KKK and neo-Nazis. Trump regretted that second speech, calling it his "biggest ####### mistake."
So if Biden wants to make a big deal about the first speech, the much more authentically Trump speech (go and watch both), he's got the facts to back him up.
