Yep. Jack Mildren, Johnnie Rogers, Rich Glover, Larry Jacobson. Awesome team. Their Thanksgiving Day win at Oklahoma in '71 one of the best games of all time.

I bet they REALLY kick themselves for running Solich off. He pretty much averaged 10 plus wins per season but that wasn't good enough. I get it and was a big fan of Dr. Tom myself, but the appeal of Nebraska hanged a lot, as well as the overall migration of people (athletes parents) from the rust belt south has caused a major shift in schools that once were power houses. With NIL. maybe the right coach can turn it around, but its gonna be hard.
