Before Bryce Drew they only had had 3 ncaa tournament appearances.

Since he was hired they have made the tournament 16 out of 18 seasons.

It starts with the AD department wanting it then you hire a coach that believes and you put a heck of a recruiting staff together . Bring in players that can score quick athletic have an offense that's fun tonplay in and watch it can happen here. I remember when Bowden couldn't beat Wake

And good for Scott Drew seeing it through and not leaving for other jobs. He was fortunate to get that job at the time (probably bc no one else wanted it) and really built it up.

It's amazing what he overcame to succeed there ..not only was it a pathetic program, they lost about everything after the dave bliss (think that was his name) saga and he suffered through 7 years probation and shortened seasons.

Maybe. It depends on how much the school supports basketball and how good the fans are. Mostly. But coaching ability could definitely maybe make a little difference. Maybe.

Not sure what stat you are looking at. First, it's Scott Drew, not Bryce.

Scott has been at Baylor since 2003. They have made the NCAA tourney 9 times since then.
