We have been beyond blessed with the staff consistency at Clemson over the past decade. That's 100% credit to Dabo. This is his program. I trust the man completely.

Someone posted something yesterday along the lines of "I guess we'll find out if we're at Bama's level" and I thought that was very on point. Bama has DC/OC turnover every year or two. It's almost an annual joke about one of Saban's assistants going to another school after a year of rehab. And, yet, Bama is right back in the hunt the next year with a new OC or DC or both. Saban is The Man at Bama. And Dabo is The Man at Clemson.

That's what happen when a team has the record that Clemson has had the past 7-8 years, everybody wants what you got that has made your program so successful.

If Dabo recovers from all the quitters rather quickly, he will go down in the history of college FB as the best HC, even over Saban bc, Saban hasn't had to recover from all the staff losses in one season that Dabo will have to recover from!!!

What was going on were perfect opportunities, Brent wasn't saying no to the Oklahoma HC job even if it was offered two years ago.

Tony Elliott was probably going to lose some control, and would have been fired if Dabo didn't actually love him like a family member.

And no one really gives a shlt about Dan.

They got rid of their AD and by firing Diaz, they technically lost their whole staff. Of course they did it to themselves so it’s not exactly the same.

This is the first time in a while that they can really entertain the idea of moving on. Everyone points to Bama and all the turnover they have but Saban usually makes these big name splash hires. For Saban it’s business. They aren’t looking to stay or build a program, they are boosting their resumé for their next job. The word you hear most about Clemson is “family”. It’s easy to leave one job for another, not so easy to leave family. With the exception of BV and the Chad, most of our staff has been home grown. That’s why they stay. Now they have their opportunity and I guarantee you they will do it the same way. Just time for Dabo to start new run with the next batch.
