I say YES...
if you take in account that BC, Cuse, WF, Uva, GT, etc will never experience a tailgate party like the likes of the lower rung SEC schools..IMHO.
Well, maybe Uva would know about some good drinking & eating.

Can’t say I’ve tailgated at every acc or sec school but of all the ones I have, none are better than Clemson
|

Yes. Not even close. Clemson, FSU & VT have SEC tailgating speed. The rest not so much.

The SEC tailgate I've attended most is what they do in Columbia SC for the SC Gamecocks. It sucks worse than any ACC tailgate I've ever attended and I've been to all of the except Pittsburgh. I probably don't need to say more but the stadium and tailgate areas in Columbia are the worst. The area around the stadium is an industrial wasteland, full of unused train tracks, warehouses, garages, and an assortment of ugly businesses. People who go to games in Columbia never see the University, never see anything remotely attractive. I cannot imagine a worse tailgate or tailgate spot.
I've been a game at TAMU and thought everything I'd ever read or heard about TAMU was wildly exaggerated. The tailgate scene was modest, the crowd seemed to like their weird cheers more than football and the town wasn't much to talk about. Oh, and it was 1000 degrees F.
I've been to games at Georgia, Auburn, Ky, and I enjoyed myself. None of those venues was as nice as Clemson, I prefer see VT, Va, Syracuse, and FSU as the equivalent to any SEC location I've ever been to see a game.
The SEC is overhyped to the max. I've visited all the schools in the SEC and I like Florida and Bama a good bit. LSU has a great campus, but I don't think I drink enough to enjoy a game there. Ole Miss is terrible overrated and you gotta walk a mile to get to the Grove from anywhere you might park.
A road trip to Louisville, Boston College, Atlanta, and even Miami are great trips to venues that offer a visitor a lot to do. Starkville, Oxford, Columbia, Columbia, College Station, Lexington, Fayetteville,and Knoxville, not so much. Nashville is a nice town but Vandy sucks.
And there is no venue remotely as good as Clemson, so I'd say like the ACC schedule of road games a lot more than I'd like a steady diet of SEC road games.

thx for some strong stuff right there Boy, and I have experienced a little of your party zones & schools mentioned and agree most don’t come close to meeting their reputations!
And yeP..little ole Clempson more than holds it own in super tailgating circles.
