Would the playoff committee use a teams

region in deciding what semi final location that team would play in. I know where each seed goes to play. Would the committee juggle those seeds for $$$$....I think CU definitely should play in Miami, we will bring more fans and money than if we went to Texas. Bama and OK would be a good fit for the Cotton Bowl.

#1 ranked team essentially determines who goes where. 1 goes to the closest semi thus. Everyone else in the running (aside from UF) is closer to Dallas. Thus if we are 1,2, or 3 we will be in Miami. All that is of course premature - got to win next week first.

That's not correct. 1 and 4 play in the Orange Bowl. ....2 and 3 play in the Cotton Bowl. The #1 team doesn't decide the location.

Read section 9. It's based on which location will be most advantageous for teams ranked 1 and 2. Hypothetically, if the rankings were 1 Bama, 2 OU, 3 Clemson, we could play in Dallas. That would be the only way.
