Defensive adjustment

Gotta start mixing in some more zone blitzes, need to have movement along the LoS to confuse this OL and QB. Would really like to see Simpson coming off the edge and spot dropping KJ and Murphy. DL also needs to get those hands up too and block those throwing lanes, Leary throws the ball pretty low.

To me; all the scheme in the world is not what's happening. Clemson's advantage in this game should be how much better we have recruited on the DL. I know full well they have an experienced OL; but this is the reason you get 4 and 5 star players to play DL for you!
It would be a good time to have that particular group show up Big.

I have faith they can do it.

I tend to agree but NC St is blocking 6 vs 4, only way to negate that and generate pressure is confuse the blocking scheme or QB. I think the fact these guys are athletic enough to spot drop is a testament to recruiting. Clemson is one of the few teams that has DL that can move well enough to drop back and take away a quick hot read.
