Would Clemson accept any transfers?

Feb 19, 2017, 1:13 PM

With these 1-year scholarships opening up, should Clemson reach out to any graduate transfers for immediate help? Not sure what position we could use except punter.

I hear Scott Pagano is transferring out. I think we should reach out to him for depth on the DL

Absolutely we would if it helped the team

Weve done it before. Two years ago we brought in the grad transfer qb Olsen.

Because we needed the depth for practice purposes.

I seriously doubt we would unless it was a very dire situation at a position like QB. That would go against the way Dabo has built the program with great recruiting and even better player development.

Interesting thought. My guess is no since there...

...doesn't seem to be glaring need at any position that would justify bringing in a couple of one and done players vs guys we have on roster or coming in. But, still a great question. Interesting to see how Dabo and staff handle it.
