Worst loss last weekend?

Nov 28, 2022, 6:29 PM

I know we all hate ours, but big picture, personal loyalties aside, who had the worst loss?

Ohio St?
Losing at home to much hated in-conference rival Michigan and possibly out of the playoff picture

LSU?
Pretty handily beaten by lowly Texas A&M, and possibly out of the playoffs

Oregon?
Blowing a 21 point lead to their rival and definitely out of the playoff picture now

LSU was most embarrassing.

Ohio State was most impactful.

Let's be real, LSU wasn't beating UGA this weekend so they weren't heading to the playoffs any way.

No, wait, O31-0SU is not out. The last 3 TDs that Mich scored don't count, because O31-0 had changed their D to stop the clock-killing runs.
That's what I heard on Fox Sports radio, last night. O31-0 is still in the CFP.
(NO, it does not matter about U of M and O31-0 SOS or SOR on the season.)

The Ohio State. Meeeecheeegan knocked 'em out of the Playoff in big time fashion.

We did.

No way in hell we should lose to the clown show rival this soon after being on a whole other plane for a decade. No fn way. So don’t ask me to get over the obvious decisions that got us there or those who made them. Can we only dominate this series when we are FAR superior to them? Do they just want it more? Do we not understand losing to them UNDERMINES ANYTHING else we achieve???

Ours was as bad as any. We were a 14.5 pt favorite at home.***

Ohio State’s loss. That was embarrassing. Every time I turned around Michigan was scoring another long td. Cooler heads will prevail, but a lot of fans want Day out. 2 lopsided losses to Michigan can make the natives restless. If Day loses a third, he going be gone.

I still say it’s LSU. #5 losing by 15pts to a team that at that point had won 4 games.

#2 loses to #3? Games like that can go any which way. Blow out either direction or a tight game to the wire. One offense gets rolling, one defense has 3 bad plays? Game over. I don’t know what happened in that game, didn’t watch it, don’t care. I know we did it to Bama. Sometimes a good team catches fire at exactly the right moment and nobody is beating them on that day.

Sometimes you get beat cuz the other team just makes plays, but when you play lousy, with everything on the line, that’s harder to take. Seeing the same poor play in week 13, that existed in week 1 is also hard to take and I don’t think it’s going too far to say that it’s unacceptable.
