How many are like me and unable to celebrate

July 4th due to work? I live in myrtle beach and work at one of the busiest restaurants in SC (crabby Mikes). Happy July 4th to everyone, hope you and your families have a great time. I'm sure half of tnet is in myrtle beach right now lol.

I live in Brasil so for obvious reasons it's not celebrated here...however this year, today falls on a day when Brasil has a game in the World Cup so I'll get out in a couple of hours instead of doing the full day.

I'll be celebrating freedom by stuffing my face and watching the soccer game at a bar near my apartment haha.

Happy 4th, hope you at least get to celebrate after closing.

working today - but will be in Myrtle Beach on Sunday. Looking forwards to a break. Not celebrating today as I'm working out of town. This is the LAST July 4th that I will ever have to work. :) Retiring soon.

done in time to enjoy fireworks with the family, but it's balls to the wall for about 12 hours befor that. Nothing quite like filling up beer shelves in Walmart for 4 hours. I've been on the other end though, working in fast food, watching fireworks from the drive-thru window. Look at the bright side though, at least you're at the beach.
