Women's tennis - few things cause me to question the

future of the human race more. I never watch and was just flipping channels, and caught a few minutes of a match, only to be reminded why I don't watch anymore. I know it's been going on for decades now, but who in the hayull planted the idea in the empty gourds of these clueless hags that this disgusting, totally forced, fake grunting and screaming and vocalizing on every shot somehow "helped"? Just goes to show that people will follow and believe just about anything, and not just blindly, but passionately and enthusiastically engage in totally ridiculous, clownish behavior based on those absurd beliefs.

but fairly certain it's been scientifically proven that yelling while exerting force allows you to exert more force.
re: karate guys who punch through concrete, power lifters, etc.

into the upper decks and just calmly trot around the bases. He didn't need to bat-twirl and admire it just to rub it in. Wilt could slam a dunk so hard it rattled the boards underneath the basket, and then just run back up the court... he didn't need to stand over the defender and flex and make primal screams at him. Walter Payton could make the most unreal TD runs ever... and then just calmly hand the ball to the ref and head to the sidelines, he didn't need to show out for 30 seconds...
Likewise, pretty sure tennis players did just fine for decades without the 400 decibel grunts...
