Woman on Plyler show this morning

Nov 18, 2014, 9:30 PM

was so mad at everyone who bashes Cole Stoudt. She lost me when she said he is better than Kyle Parker in my opinion, look at what he was in 2010. First of all, if you'd gave Parker Mike Williams, Scott, Leggett, G-Hop and Humphries, he'd been very good. Parker had a very good arm, unlike Stoudt, could run also, so would do very well in this offense. All Parker had in 2010 was Nuk as a true fresh and Ellington got hurt, so he had ZERO help. There is no comparison in Parker and Stoudt.

Who would you rather have at QB right now    [Results]

Kyle Parker
Cole Stoudt

Agree, that Parker was a better QB. Parker got broken ribs in the Auburn game (from a late hit that was not called) and then played through that pain for the next month. The next game, or two, his passing was definitely "off."

But don't bash C Stoudt, as that's not his fault.

Parker wasn't that bad

He had injured ribs and we lost Ellington half way through the year who was on track for an 1100-1200 yard season

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

I liked KP

Despite his occasional erratic tendencies. It didn't help that his WRs couldn't catch the ball. I think he would have been good in Morris' system

Although I will say he was better before signing his baseball contract

Parker was better until the Auburn game, then he sucked pretty bad, accuracy issues, mind on baseball

I can remember being upset when KP skipped out on his senior year to go play baseball, because it meant we were stuck with some guy named Tajh Boyd...

Ehh, yea - we see how that all turned out - but KP was no question a better QB than anything we've seen lately.
