my 18 year old niece just came over to get supper leftovers and she was crying.
I asked what was wrong. She said her dad was yelling at her.
She's smart as heck but has ADHD. I admit she gets on my nerves at times but I NEVER yell at her and always try to be patient. Not really my business but ugghhhh.

In this relationship, I’d say it’s pretty harmless. ADHD doesn’t make you sensitive, if anything it makes you more unaware of stuff like that cause ain’t nobody got time to focus on feelings.

A yell may have been what it took to get something important across that would keep his daughter safe. Lots of factors

my 2 cents is don't be too quick to judge the parents. Dealing with a kid with challenges sometimes is not the same as dealing with them all the time. I would tend to show the parents some grace.

my last nerve at times repeating the same thing over and over etc.
I just hate the yelling. My parents never yelled at me. The look was enough.
