Who is the recipient this Year? Despite Dabo's incredible showing so far, it is unlikely he is chosen.
Pre season, it appeared the award was between the highly acclaimed, albeit untested, Cristobal versus the eccentric DD of NCSU. How about Mack Brown or Elko?

If he finishes with a winning records I agree. He was expected to be fired and he turns things around. All the other candidates are doing what was expected, slightly less, or slightly more if they go the rest of the season undefeated. He is the coach whose team is performing much better than expected.

Based on records, right now it would be Babers. But, as I pointed out in another post, let's hold off on crowning Cuse as the surprise team of the ACC.
If I had to guess who it will end up being, I'm guessing Elko.

Agree, too soon. But if wake keeps winning, they'll be top 10 and major bowl. May come down between Cuse/WAKE game. Gonna be fun to watch.

Clawson…what’s he’s been able to do there is amazing. Taking average/below avg talent, redshirt them, and develop them while building experience and depth has worked for them so well. Class act as well.
