With offers being dished out faster this cycle, wonder if Dabo

& staff have been able to do their normal lengthy background & character checks.,
or they just going with gut feelings so not to wait so long as in the past so to now show high interest & give out quicker offers at the same time since many a recruit has gone elsewhere since they'd didn't like the waiting game imposed.

I've been a long time reader of TigerNet. There's always a burst of the Clemson offers to rising HS juniors, usually tied to June camps & on-campus June visits.And even if there has been an gradual increase, the usual perquisites seem to be in place (previous & current on-campus visits, as well as previous or current chances to evaluate the prospect by Clemson staff in person). Maybe you have specific numbers or specific changes to support your critique, which IMHO seem to be unsupported.

i recall offers typically come out after the camps and visits..
camps are pretty standard so i don think they are happening any sooner.
are the visits maybe happening sooner?

The visits are sooner because in the past Dabo wanted the official visits to be during the FB season on a home game weekend. He had to change that now as recruiting process is happening sooner. To answer one LBB's questions Dabo still does his due diligence checking out a recruits character as much as possible. I heard him tell the campers the other day he gets a weekly report every Tuesday on social media activity for each recruit we are talking to.

Yeah, with the early signing date now in place for December, allowing for official visits a little earlier in the process for rising seniors seems like a natural progression. The article title referring to that as a change in 'philosophy' to me was a little misleading, more just an adjustment to the new timeline in place now that campus visits are back on fully.
Dabo gets charged with being stubborn often but it seems as much that he adjusts in small increments every year with one thing or another. Social media for players, earlier officials now, the NIL media lab they cooked up a few years back, and with major turnover leading both sides of the ball this time around, we'll see differences in playcalling and structures there by default.
