Jaguar sedan in front of hotel we & team were staying at back in Jan 1982.

IPTAY had bought it b/4 Charlie took off for UFL so they gave it to Coach Ford instead.

You ought to have seen his confused smile since it “won’t” a Ford truck!

Did he ever drive it, is the question.

No, he put it up on blocks in his garage and continued to drive his Mazda pickup. I have no idea if he ever sold it or still has it somewhere. I was dating a girl whose dad was on the IPTAY board at the time.

I don't think Pell could have gotten away from the NCAA but if he had the Jag, they would have caught him in I75 shoulder in a cloud of smoke.
