Clemson has had in Baseball over the many decades of the program,at anytime should there be a head coach in year 6 having to go thru a rebuilding season,in other words the team and program should be reloading instead and I say this because during last Saturday's game vs Notre Dame I over heard William Qualkinbush say that currently Clemson's starting lineup consisted of 1 Junior,2 Sophomores and 6 Freshmen.

You heard correct and Monte changes the line-up each game.

Gallo started the first 4 games and was doing pretty darn good. Especially defense. Then he has an ohfer in the coot game (he wasn't hurt) and the next time we see him is pinch hit tonight in the 9th. Who knows, he'll probably start tomorrow.

I think Monte feels so much pressure right now that he's throwing crap to see what sticks. I was actually kinda proud of his presser after uscu. I kkinda felt sorry for him. At least he stepped up and put it squarely at his door.

We got good talent. We got some good recruits coming but unfortunately it's not elite... And why hasn't the juniors and seniors progressed? Was the talent that bad?

What's the solution Horry? Tia

recruit like Dabo,there is no reason whatsoever that Clemson should not be recruiting at that level in Baseball,they should be and especially with the history of the program and the top notch facilities that it currently has in place

what Clemson needs is a hitting coach. Who is the hitting coach? I think he's been here even before Lee got to Clemson and it's the same thing every year, swing at ball in the dirt and out of the strike zone.

Can't bunt, and they try to pull about every pitch.

Our baseball program is a shell of itself. Quit thinking because 15 years ago we were good we should be good now. This program has been middle to below middle of the pack and Monte ain’t changing anything. If only we were better at pitching, fielding, hitting, running, and throwing we wouldn’t be a bad team. Too bad Monte relies on MLB data to run his team not realizing exit velo isnt worth #### when you swing and miss. Throw money and Ray Tanner is a better option than paying Monte.
