I have needed a Hearing Aid for the past 15 years, but I have never been able to afford them, and I would rather say what did you say all day than to have one of those cheap ones that makes that squealing sound that I've heard coming from some of them!!!

But I completely get what you’re saying. Experienced some “dirty” people in the industry already. A few bad apples give a bad rep to the industry though

I've been wearing Kirkland"s (Costco brand) for a couple of years now. $1800. Love them. Can't beat em for the money.

Just get it done. Had to get them over a year ago and it is the best thing I have done in quite sometime. Expensive yes, worth it, definitely yes. Will not tell you how much I paid.

Agreed. Expensive, but worth it. I can't function without mine.

Good gracious, a lot of people are wearing hearing aids. It's nice to (hear) most of you are having a favorable experience.

Question for people who replied to this.

First of all, I wish you the best of success with them LTown!
Unfortunately, my experience has not been great for the 4K I spent. Can the others who replied post or Tmail me what kind they purchased and if they are satisfied with them? I purchased a set of Starkey CIC 4 years ago and have been very disappointed. Their performance is spotty at best. I have had to return them both 6-7 times for repair or replacement of speakers and microphones. I am going to replace them next year and was hoping for advice on finding a better aid. I purchased these from a licensed and degreed audiologist in the Clemson area and she has no clue why they have been so poor. She claims that brand name is reliable. I was planning to look into the Kirkland option at Costco.
