Has anyone seen him talk about that missed field goal when all the ou guys just stood there? Watching the game again, and I wonder if he missed because they spooked him by not moving.

The next game is The National Championship game.
But I bet it would be kind of strange for the line. Kicker is pretty much looking down.

He's pretty spot on usually. Could be coincidence.
But I've never seen that before, and it could be a trick by the defense that worked. Something that could be added to practice to get the kicker used to it.

No- it was a longer FG and that would've been Lakip's kick if he was there...
Just a slight push- I don't know if you've ever kicked a FG before, but it's not the easiest thing in the world to do. Especially from 35+ yards.

Gusting right. Would've been risky aiming further left than he did, because if the wind doesn't catch it, he pushes it wide left the guy who didn't own the moment like he has all year.
Beautiful kick, though. Under pressure, and I believe it would've been his longest of the season had the wind died down.
So proud of the guy. We need to start a petition to make sure he's put on scholly in 16.

Just wondering what people thought, if the defense standing there could have anything to do with it. I really don't know, never been a kicker. He just has done really well and happened to miss when they did that.

After the fake punt Oklahoma was afraid to do much of anything on punts and FG. They just stood there and made sure we didn't attempt another fake. That neutralized the OKlahoma's speical teams. It may be worth at least attempting it again. Against Bama to keep the from returning a long punt. Go Tigers.
