Just got off the phone with the Governor's office...

No need to dally... It's a time to be proactive. Hopefully he gets my message from the young lady on the phone.
She asked if I wanted to leave a name. I did, of course, and my location. He needs to step up and shut it down.
The number: 803-734-2100
As to opinion, "To each his own."

Do you remember our convo on the availability of testing?

You 2-4 days... I posted about 6-8 days. Guess what! A couple of days later, the REAL story comes out. 6-8 days and maybe more due to a lack of reagents for 2-3 days. SC doesn't have a clue as to the real current numbers. McMaster needs to quit playing politics and get F'in real.
"Incremental" policy is PRECISELY why the US is presently in this FUSTERCLUCK!!!

mentioned it... I agree with the policy for HCs, but I have a BIG problem with basing state policy on known-to-be inaccurate numbers...
They'll be hearing from me again tomorrow and everyday forward until he wakes up... No need to be that "special 10%"...

Surprised to hear you say that. You want the government

to have the power to force American citizens, under threat of violence, to stay in their homes?
The ones who stay isolated at home can't get sick from idiots running around. Hospitals being overwhelmed is going to happen either way. People who stay at home are eventually going to get it.
And a total global financial collapse is way worse than even 3% of the whole country dying. Lots more than 3% will die if the dollar completely collapses. Medieval sh*t is going down if that happens.
We are going to face the music one way or another.

"Hospitals being overwhelmed" could possibly be deterred

and "eventually going to get it" isn't necessarily the case.
They waited too long to implement preventative measures and now is not the time to gamble and add to the situation.
I agree that we can't continue a 'stay-at-home' order indefinitely but for the next few weeks it would have serve to dramatically reduce the spread and the burden on hospitals. Once PPEs have caught up production-wise and virologists have been given time to evaluate the antibody studies and best therapeutic practices, then things could be reopened. A few more weeks is all I'm advocating.
If the dollar collapses, so does the yuan, ruble, pound and everything else. It would all be relative.
As to the medieval chit, my safe is stocked... ;~)

to compel Americans, under the threat of physical violence, to stay home against their will... or not. Emergency does not change my perspective on civil liberties. 9/11 didn’t. This doesn’t.

As I told the "ombudswoman", SC isn't some special 10%ers...
We're surrounded by states that have implemented 'stay-at-home orders'. It's "stupid for SC not to do so for the next few weeks"...

Stop being a ######. Like the governor told the reporter that asked him about this a couple days ago, if you don’t understand you need to stay at home as much as possible you haven’t been listening.

individual option. Everybody will need to go for the essentials. Why risk expanding the potential viral impact and why not follow Fauci's protocols? I don't know what ###### is but I'd be glad to discuss it with you face-to-face, punk.

It’s all around me bro. If I die, I die. But stats are on my side. 97% chance of living through it and 85% chance I test negative when tested.
We have over 100 deaths within about a 10 mile radius of my house. Two doors down, ma and wife have it, mild symptoms. My FIL and MIL neighbor has it, it’s all over man. BUT WE ALL GONNA DIIEEEEEE!!!!!!!
But you keep setting your hair on fire.

I want to see McMaster be more proactive instead of waiting to be reactive.
That attitude is the reason we're in this chit to begin with and slow-peddling hasn't and won't work.
It won't be MY hair on fire... Believe me.
