If he wants to go, then don't tell him not to let the door hit him in the butt.

Show contempt for this situation but not toward Chad.

Chad's says he it would take a special job to get him to leave.

These "Chad to XXXX," post are cause by the people that believe our program's recent successes are only because Dabo hired Chad. This suggest is that Clemson will fall to helll when Chad leaves.

That's not the case. He's been a part of our success but not the foundation. Chad is just one of the building block. He can be replaced not that I would wish to see him go.

Will they pay him $1,000,000?

He also will not uproot his daughters for anything other than a major HC job.

Start of this yr I said he is gone, no question. I think

Dec 6, 2013, 11:03 PM

I am wrong now thank God- He said only something really special and I'll assume in Tx somewhere. Either a direct hire to a Tx school or a half-step position with intentions of taking over a school there and taking a risk without the above potential benefit isn't worth it. He also is well paid and has a new round of position players already here or on their way. A good thing going in the coaching arena is exceptional and I'm sure he is very aware of his fortune. Not sure he'll take a chance if not needed. He was making what 28,000 less than 5 yrs ago. Puts a different perspective of appreciation on things than say Muschamp...oops. Say Barry Switzer...oops. Say Mac Brown...oops. Say Larry Coker...chit. I give =)

Chad Morris isn't ready for a D1 head coaching job yet.

Dec 7, 2013, 5:39 AM [ in reply to Start of this yr I said he is gone, no question. I think ]

No disrespect. I think he knows he isn't ready. He's only been coaching NCAA football for a few years. That's enough experience to be functional but not enough to be trusted to run a good program.

He doesn't have the resume to survive a failure at a good football school. If he took a job and got fired in four years he'd be stuck as an OC the rest of his life. He doesn't have the experience to build a poor program into a nationally relevant program, he knows it, I know it so the average maroon and most of the AD in the country should know it too.

He's gonna show up on list quite often because ADs have already decided who they want and interview Chad and others with no intent of hiring them to make it look as if they've done their job search to fans and the media.

Chad is still learning on the job and it shows in the big games that Clemson plays in. We were running the ball down SC's throat and he wanted Boyd to throw 40 passes. A true read option QB will propel Chad to a head coaching job.
