Will Texas A&M be the Auburn of last year

Last year Clemson was a big favorite over Auburn. The game came down to the last seconds with a Clemson win. Auburn went on to be the SEC West champions. I am not saying Texas A&M will be the west representative in the SEC championship, but I do believe they will be one of the top teams in the SEC if not the nation by year end.

And I agree with those who attended the game as I did. It was an intimadating atmosphere. I have traveled to 25 college stadiums and nothing compared to it (except Clemson). It was a great experience and well worth the trip.

You mean play and lose a close game to clemson, then go on to a 4 loss season concluding with a loss to UCF?

While Mond played a great game, he got lucky on some of his throws. One that we should have picked off and one TD that I don't think was his intended receiver.

Also we are still a fairly 1 dimensional football team offensively. We still don't scare anyone with our downfield passing and that makes us (from a scheme standpoint) easy to defend.

Now they could pose the same problem for Bama as they did for us because Bama has a lot of new players in the secondary, but that's a road game and I doubt it's nearly that close.

I think they are a 7 or 8 win team as I'd project loses at Bama, at Auburn, and they'll probably split LSU, Ms State, so that's 8-4 assuming they don't lay an egg vs KY, S. Carolina or Ole Miss.
