Will Spurrier "retire" this year?

I think his ego wants to go out on top, and he keeps thinking "Just one more year to get SEC champ or National champ."
Will his delusions finally dissolve? Will he give it up?
I don't think they will fire him.....yet.

He won't retire after losing his last game to Clemson to NOT be bowl eligible (assuming they lose to UF and beat South Alabama). His arrogance won't let him do that. The next time he beats Clemson to finish with an 8 win season, the ole ball sack will be done.

I kinda believe he is gone. Look at next year's schedule.

This years schedule is easy compared to next imho.

way he plans on sticking around to develop another QB. Next year would be year 11, he was at UF 12 years. He would never stay at SCAR longer than UF.

He is gone after this season. I posted back in August that anything less than an 8-4 season would cause SOS to retire. He has stuck around this long because they have been winning. Remember, he admitted he almost quit after the 8-5 season in 2008. They have won at a much better rate since then, until this year.

I definitely think he is gone this year.

I think he's probably gone after this year. Cooterlina won't be any better next year and I don't think he sees much daylight.

He knows what the Shamecocks are capable of (0-21), and that probably scares him too...
