He's pulling a Tommy on them. Sign a big contract then get fired midseason giving him a secure income for life.

I think he's tired of coaching and dealing with the trash FSU recruits. I'm not saying all their players are trash but a great many have been over the last 30 years. He knows an SEC job will be just as bad or worse.

I don't believe it's a moral issue with him, he can lie with an almost straight face. That alone qualifies him to coach in the SEC.
