Clemson or FSU in the ACC as a football player?? The attendance and atmosphere at the other schools is just pathetic...

they need their own stadium closer to or on their campus...and it only needs to seat 40k max..

...but I remember reading they averaged over 50,000 in the stadium each game, some years over 60,000. For a school with only about 10k undergrads and in a state with so many other football teams, college and pro, that isn't too bad. But the stadium probably never rocks like DV or most SEC ones.

I was on LSU's board Tigerdroppings before the bowl game this year, and they were saying LSU's stadium and football atmosphere blows out Clemson which I found hard to believe even though their stadium holds more people.
I was kind of surprised Va Tech stadium wasn't bigger, I guess the program wasn't much of anything prior to Beamer but you would think a large state college in Virginia would have a huge stadium for football.

or how many people it seats..
the big house seats 110 000 and before they added those angled suites it was relatively quiet..still is
texas' stadium seats over 100k and ive heard their environment is like a wine and cheese environment and their fans are not loud at all
autzen seats like 60k and is extremely loud..as is washington huskies stadium..va tech has a great environment and only seats around 60k
theres nothing like death valley..first of all its actually a legit valley unike lsu's..and the stands are so steep they are like walls of orange on each side of you.. players have said it feels like the fans are right ontop of you
lsu fans are like most sec fans and claim that they are the best at everything hands down just because of the conference they are in..suckling at the sec teet..they have a great environment but so do 25 other schools us included..ignore their bs

Well I don't care, Clemson is loud enough for me. I was somewhat surprised they thought it was a quiet lackluster stadium. LOL

It is more than the fact they are an SEC school and arrogant due to conference.....that is a different kind of crowd at LSU and I don't necessarily mean that as a compliment. Go down there for a night game when they are playing Bama or Florida and you will see what I mean.
I've been, and there is a reason the term "crazy Cajun" was coined. That stadium is loud because the crowd is nuts. They have been known to pee in cups and throw it at visiting fans.
Let LSU have the bragging rights to that kind of stadium atmosphere....it's not one I want.
