Clemson has did Auburn ...Texas A&M....etc....

CU TLGTN

Played at Penn State in 2011

Handled them pretty well. A decent PSU team that season. That was the team that lost to LSU in the regular season and beat them in the BCS championship.

It's a rare thing for Bama. They did play at Duke in 2010, but I don't think they've played a true out of conference road game since 2011. They do have a home and home scheduled with Texas in 2022 and 2023 with Alabama going to Austin first.

They have the obligatory "neutral site" games with Duke in Atlanta next year, USC in Arlington in 2020 and Miami in Atlanta in 2021. They're also scheduled to play at Notre Dame in 2028 with ND going to Tuscaloosa the next season.

SEC won't do that. The coots have played all of their away games with N.C. schools in Charlotte to avoid their home field. Never have figured out why UNC, N.C. State , and East Carolina were stupid enough to agree to that. They lost all those games.

why would they?

It doesn’t benefit them at all. They have been the best program for 10 years and so it seems they are doing something right. Why risk a loss in a tough environment?

Now saying that I wish All teams did big OOC home and homes but you can’t argue with how Alabama is doing it to make the playoffs
