Why not? It's about honoring a hero and the game with us will get the most viewers they'll have all year.

And, it worked for them versus USC two years ago.

Its about honoring an american hero, and what better way to do that than on a friday night with no one else really playing, and against the #3 team in the country. and if they just so happen to win, it just makes it a little more special

They got Louisville at home to. We are better than Louisville as evidenced by last week's victory. But, I wouldn't say "by far".

I would like to think they were confident in the respect Clemson would have for event. But I'm sure, as the other poster pointed out, ratings probably had a lot to do with it. That and attendance. Clemson travels well.
