BC they didn't lose to Auburn and ND. Also had 3 quality wins to our 1.

That's basically the reason the head of the committee just gave for why NC State is in and SMU is out. I hope we correct that problem next year. All we had to do is lose to a couple top 10 teams instead of Auburn and Arkansas and we would be in the tournament instead of NC State.
