Why the FSU loss was a GOOD thing for Clemson...

Granted, the negative is that it hurts our SOS. But look beyond that.

1) It means we have a greater chance of winning the ACC. If we lose, to FSU, we are not out of it. They still have to play NC State

2) The loss showed our guys that the horseshoe has fallen out.

3) Most importantly, now this game isn't quite as high profile as it was. I think that's a good thing. I'd rather have our guys playing loose, and not uptight. Say what you will, but I think this team is still young and vulnerable to getting too hyped up. Heck, Watson admitted as much after the UL and BC game.

As long as we win, we're in. We were NEVER going to be positioned to have a loss and get in.

We'll be ok. They will still be ranked when we beat them - and probably at the end of the year. Hopefully Duke or UNC will also be ranked pretty good when we play the ACC Champ game. Just WIN out Tigers - destiny is in your hands.
